    S.E.N.D ACCESSIBLE SESSIONS

    We believe that everyone should be able to join in the fun, so we've created SEND accessible sessions of our popular Laser Tag for those that need it.

  • What's different about a SEND accessible session?

     

    These sessions are specially designed to make our laser tag games accessible to those with special educational needs and disabilities.

     

    Here are the steps we take to create a more relaxed environment, whilst keeping all the fun!

     

    - We increase the ratio of marshals to players, to ensure we can provide additional support as required.

     

    - We allow longer for the briefing, to ensure there is plenty of time for any questions and that everyone understands how to use the equipment before the session starts.

     

    - We keep the house lights on, so it is easier to navigate environment and the effect of the 'flashing' from the laser tag packs is minimised.

     

    - We reduce the volume of the music in the arena.

     

    - We turn off the smoke machine.

     

    - We tailor the game modes used in the session to the needs and abilities of the group.

     

    - We offer free carer places

  • OUR GAME ZONES

    YOUR SESSION WILL BE PLAYED ON ONE OF OUR EXCITING UNDERGROUND ARENAS, THEMED AS A MILITARY BUNKER!

    LOADING BAY

     

    A large open game zone with multiple obstacles to hide behind including a truck, several small rooms for taking cover, flashing beacon lights and an exposed wall for a true sense of being below ground.

    MISSILE SILOS

     

    An L-shaped game zone featuring 3 large missile silo's, missile launcher, multiple rooms for those seeking shelter and a prison complex. Perfect for close-quarter-battle gameplay.

  • ON THE DAY

    We appreciate that preparation can be key to an enjoyable trip, so here's a breakdown of what to expect when you come to play laser tag at Bunker 51

    1

    ARRIVAL

    When you arrive at Bunker 51, you will be asked to sign in for your session, shown where to bathrooms are and asked to place your belongings in to one of our lockers.

     

    You will also be asked if you would like a pair of coveralls, and if you do, will be asked to put them on.

    BREIFING

    You will be asked to go through to our laser tag breifing area. Here, you will meet your marshal who will let you know of any rules to follow to keep you safe and be shown a short video about how to use the equipment.

     

    There will be plenty of time for questions and then you will get kitted up with the laser tag sensor vest and marker.

    PLAY

    We aim to include 4 different games in the 1 hour session.

     

    Before each game starts, your marshal will explain how the game works. At the end of the game, some awards for different players will be read out.

     

    We tailor the games played in the session to the abilities of the group

    GOODBYE

    After your last game, everyone will leave the arena in order to return the sensor vest and marker to the racks in the kit up area.

     

    Here, you will be given a record of results from your last game.

     

    Your marshal will then say goodbye (until next time!) and then show you the way back to reception, where you can collect your belongings.
